Withee Village Board Approves Land Lease Agreement

-The Withee Village Board approved a land lease agreement at their recent meeting.

With that agreement, they will entertain offers for renting approximately 18 acres of Village property for crops.  They also approved the OW Police Department spending up to $10,000 on safety equipment of ballistic vests, helmets, and firearms from the 2020 budget carryover.

The board also approved paying off the end loader loan when it matures in April with monies in savings that had been designated for future end loader purchase.  It would save the village roughly $6,000 to pay it off rather than extend the loan for 4-5 years.
