In-Person Absentee Voting Underway
Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 -- 8:48 AM
In-person absentee voting has begun for Wisconsin's primary, now just a little more than two weeks away. The state Government Accountability Board says this will be the first time Wisconsin's partisan primaries have been held in August since 1946.
The usual September primary was moved to Aug. 14 this year so the state can comply with a federal law aimed at giving military and overseas voters enough time to cast their absentee ballots.
