Two Inmates Escape from Black River Correctional Center

-Two inmates have escaped from the minimum security Black River Correctional Center.The Jackson County Sheriff?s Department said it happened Tuesday night. The department got a report saying the inmates, 18-year-old James Misleveck and 29-year-old James Newman, simply walked out the front door.
Police got a call early Wednesday morning about a shotgun stolen from a truck in Black River Falls.
Things took a frightening turn when a woman was carjacked at a Black River Falls casino. The suspects took her and the car to Sparta. The woman was let go unharmed and the suspects stole another vehicle.
Police chased Misleveck and Newman to Tomah where they got away on foot.
The police have no concrete leads as to where the men are and authorities are urging people to lock their doors and be cautious.
