DNR Meeting Tomorrow on Wolf Hunt

-The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board is planning to consider an emergency administrative rule at its July meeting tomorrow to establish the final parameters of a fall wolf hunting season in the state.According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, the meeting will take place on Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Stevens Point. The wolf hunting season was directed by the Wisconsin Legislature to start this fall, but the DNR is charged with the task of putting together the details of the proposed hunt.
Specific aspects of the season, including quotas and permit levels, will be considered in the proposal for the board to consider.
Meanwhile, the public is invited to testify at the meeting.
