Two People Injured in Motorcycle vs. Deer Accident

-Two people from Black River Falls were injured when they hit a deer Thursday afternoon.The man and woman were riding on a motorcycle on 12/27 south of ten when a deer jumped into the road. They collided with the deer.
The driver, Scott Thomas, 51, was airlifted to St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield with serious head injuries. His passenger, Melinda Kubina, 49, was taken to the Black River Falls Hospital.
Neither of them was wearing a helmet.
Chief Deputy of the Clark County Sheriff?s Department said that neither speed nor alcohol were a factor in the crash.
?It was just a tragic accident,? Jim said.
