Debris Fire in Neillsville Creates Thick, Black Smoke

-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to reports of a grass fire on Tuesday afternoon in the town of Weston.When the call came in, there were reports that the fire was heading toward a building.
The fire occurred 4 miles north of Neillsville at the Sunnybrook Fence and Deck Company.
The fire burned its way into piles of fencing and decking causing a plume of thick, black smoke to billow into the sky.
The Neillsville Fire Department brought the fire down in 10 minutes and no other damage was caused other than the piles of fencing and decking. The department was on scene for a total of 30 minutes.
There were no injuries and the Greenwood Fire Department assisted with a tanker truck, but they didn?t dump.
