Holland's Family Cheese Wins at State Fair Cheese and Butter Contest

-Holland's Family Cheese received more awards at the 2012 Wisconsin State Fair Cheese & Butter Contest.Marieke Gouda Foenegreek, one of the company's most sought-after raw milks and farmstead goudas, scored a 99.05 in the Flavored Semi-Soft Cheese category.
Carefully aged on Dutch pine planks, this rich, creamy creation boasts notes of maple syrup and toasted nuts.
Additionally, in the Open Class - Semi-Soft Cheese category, Marieke Gouda Aged scored a 99.7 and Marieke Gouda Belegen scored a 99.3, earning both recognition and awards.
The 2012 Grand Master Cheesemaker, along with this year's other winning cheesemakers, will be recognized during the Blue Ribbon Cheese & Butter Auction on Aug. 10 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park.
