Republicans Gather for "Super Saturday"

-Republicans gathered Saturday in a dozen battleground states for voter contact programs, an event they called "Super Saturday," the Republican National Committee said.Their efforts, according to CNN, included telephone banks and knocking on doors to contact potential voters.
Prominent Republicans - including House Speaker John Boehner and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett ? as well as Republican candidates for elected office such as Senate candidate George Allen and gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli, both of Virginia, attended events to rally volunteers.
Over 30 events took place in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
