Coronavirus Numbers for February 9th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County currently has 43 active cases.  Clark County has had 56 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 550,369 positive cases (an increase of 543 over the previous day) and 6,055 deaths, an increase of 1 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 24,919, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 165,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19, the state’s top health agency indicates Wednesday.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 165,370 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 767,020 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 6,917 positive and 86 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 10,782 positive and 101 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,556 positive and 22 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,405 positive and 170 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,768 positive and 20 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 6,537 positive cases and 68 deaths.
