Black River Falls Fire Department Responds to Silo Fire

-The Black River Falls Fire Department responded to a silo fire Saturday night.

The fire occurred on a farm in the Township of Albion.  It took 169,000 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.  An excavating company had to help take the silo down as it showed signs of collapsing.

It took Black River Falls Fire, with the help of five other fire departments, nearly six hours to clear the scene.
