As a result, Dewey Poeschel was elected as president, Peggy Grap is vice-president, treasurer is Sue Voigt, and the Clerk is Deanna Heiman who retained her position. Rick Opelt is a regular school board member.
After that, the board approved a senior trip to Minnesota, accepted the retirement of custodial staff member Wayne Kirth, and accepted the resignation of Kevin Dick, the Tech Ed. Teacher, and Mary Kopf, a special education teacher.
The board also approved Brain Kunze and Dave Matson as assistant football coaches, Mike Pekol and Dominic Cappadora as high school assistant coaches, and Dwayne King as a middle school football coach.
A cap stone project was approved and the board accepted a donation from Central Wisconsin Broadcasting to help with the project. This project allows senior students at Neillsville to work with a local contractor and help build a home.
