Press Confrence Held Regarding Fallen Firefighter

-There was a press conference at noon today regarding the firefighter who tragically lost his life yesterday.A noticeably choked up Abbotsford Fire Chief said Jamison Kampmeyer was fatally injured in the fire yesterday; he as well as three other firefighters was trapped under the roof of the Abby Theatre when it collapsed. The other firefighters survived and were treated before being released. They are all home and doing fine. Gov. Walker as well as the local firefighters involved has expressed their deep condolences to the family. Kampmeyer was the father of three young children.
The fire chief also commented on the confusion and chaos that took place with this event and that they are still investigating the fire. The fire itself was under control in 30 to 45 minutes and the Fire Department used the city?s water to fight the blaze.
There were a total of 50 firefighters on scene yesterday.
