Clark Co. Mining Committee to Meet

A seldom-convened Clark County Committee will meet this week to discuss frac sand mining.Clark County?s Mining Committee hasn?t met since 2007, but they will meet on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Clark County Courthouse. The group will discuss the quantity of sand in Clark County, the location of the sand, the potential damage to roads and the overall impact to Clark County.
Clark County is in the middle of the most concentrated deposit of this type of sand, which is used in the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydraulic_fracturing]hydro-fracturing process[/url], in the country.
