Veterans Day Ceremonies Planned

Friday is Veteran?s Day.Area communities will host ceremonies to honor our vets Friday.
[list]The annual ceremony at the Neillsville High School will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Field House. The keynote address will be given by Don Simpson and Amy Peck, who is a seeing-eye dog specialist. The band will also provide music.[/list][list]In Greenwood, there will be a ceremony at the High School at 10:05 a.m. With a presenation of colors by Greenwood Legion Post 238. Lloyd Grandberg of the American Legion Riders will speak.[/list][list]In Loyal, there will be a service at 10 a.m. with a presentation of colors by Loyal American Legion Color Guard. The Loyal band and choir will perform and there will also be student readings and presentation on flag etiquette.[/list][list]The Highground will hold their service at 11:11 a.m. with SFC/E7 James Liedtka giving the keynote address. Liedtka is an Iraq War veteran[/list]
