BRF HOME DAMAGED BY FIRE

A Black River Falls area home was damaged by fire Monday night.No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported just before 11 p.m. It was located on Oak Ridge Road in the town of Manchester.
Two adults and one child were in the home when the fire broke out. They were able to escape without injury. The occupants heard a loud pop and upon investigation found the front of the home on fire in the area of an attached deck.
The home sustained heavy smoke and heat damage throughout. The cause is not known at this time.
