BALLOT MISTAKE COULD LEAD TO GRANTON RE-VOTE

A mistake on the ballot might force a re-vote in the Granton School Board Primary.According to Clark County Clerk Christina Jensen, an area resident noticed the ballot said ?vote for not more than 4;? it should have read ?vote for not more than 2,? as there are only two seats up for election.
Jensen has contacted the Government Accountability Board, which has advised the district to canvass the votes and certify the top 4 candidates to continue on to the Spring Election.
But, candidates could petition for a recount and then challenge the voting process in Circuit Court.
Only three votes separated the 4th and 5th place candidates?Terry Foss had 99 votes and James Chadwick had 96.
