8TH GRADER EXPELLED

A 14 year-old Neillsville student has been expelled for violating the district?s drug and alcohol policy.Superintendent John Gaier says the board reached the decision after a hearing last night.
The female student is currently in the 8th grade. She is expelled until the end of the school year without the possibility for early re-entry.
Details of the violation aren?t available as the incident is still under investigation by the Neillsville Police Department.
