CLARK CO. BOARD WILL CONSIDER COMP. PLAN NEXT YEAR

The Clark County Board of Supervisors will likely be voting on a revamped comprehensive plan within the first six months of 2011.At the direction of the board, the Planning, Zoning and Solid Waste Committee has been working to update the plan, which was voted down in 2006.
So far, the committee has tackled four of the nine elements of the plan, completing the Natural Resources portion Monday night.
Planning and Zoning Administrator Steve Kunze says the committee believes they?ll have the plan updated and ready to present by the end of June, at the latest.
