MORE WATER TO ABBY

A thirsty northern Clark County city is going to construct 12 more wells.

Yesterday, the Wisconsin Public Service Commission issued an order allowing the city of Abbotsford to build 12 new wells at a cost of around $9.54-million. The city already has about 14 wells.

Officials hope the new wells will add 550,000 gallons of water by the end of the year or early 2011.
