SIGNS OF SPRING

Most of us our sick of winter already. Thankfully, the National Weather Service of La Crosse is out a with a reminder that Spring is just around the corner.They've released their first [url=http://www.crh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=arx&storyid=47465&source=0]Spring Flood Outlook[/url].
The report notes that frost depths in our area are somewhat shallow and the snow cover is variable from 5 to 10 inches.
Area rivers are running higher than normal, due to some winter rain events.
All and all, forecasters say there is an above-average chance of some minor flooding this spring.
