CLARK CO. OFFICERS HELP ARREST MAN AFTER STAND-OFF

The Clark County Sheriff?s Department?s Special Reaction Team assisted Taylor County during a domestic situation Sunday afternoon.According to incident reports, authorities were trying to apprehend 48-year-old Calvin Weiler after a domestic incident. He led officers on a short chase and then barricaded himself in his home north of Medford.
Weiler, who had a history of violence, was reportedly armed and unwilling to turn himself in.
The Clark County Sheriff?s Department?s Special Reaction Team responded to assist Taylor County. It gained access to the home and arrested Weiler without injury.
