Thorp Woman Elected President of Dairy Business Association

Thursday, January 7th, 2021 -- 12:00 PM

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The Wisconsin-based Dairy Business Association has a new leader.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, Amy Penterman of Thorp was elected president of the group's board of directors during the organization's annual meeting.

Penterman farms with her husband, Sander, at Dutch Dairy in Clark County. She is also a crop insurance agent.  "I'm honored to serve in this role going forward," Penterman said.

"Dairy is the backbone of our state's economy and rural communities, and I am passionate about keeping it strong now and for future generations."

Amy replaces Mike North of Platteville, who will now serve as president emeritus for one year.  Meanwhile, delegates also elected one new board member at the conference. Spencer Frost from Waterford will serve three-year terms on the panel.
