WOMAN INJURED IN CRASH

An elderly woman was injured when the van she was driving left the road north of Neillsville Thursday morning.According to Jeff Strangfeld of the Neillsville Fire Department, the one-vehicle rollover was located just north of CTH C on STH 73 in the Town of Weston.
The woman was trapped beneath the vehicle, but passersby had the woman freed by the time crews got there. She was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville with unknown injuries.
The Fire Department spent less than an hour at the scene assisting with clean-up and traffic control.
