WISCONSIN SWINE FLU

Thursday, April 30th, 2009 -- 2:10 PM

Health officials say Swine Flu, or North American Influenza, is probably in Wisconsin now; but, it?s not in Clark County.

Three probable swine flu cases have been found in Wisconsin and 4 of Milwaukee's public schools were shut down indefinitely because of the two probable cases in the city.

It could take a day or two get confirmation from the Centers for Disease Control.

Two of the cases are in Milwaukee, the third probable case involves an adult in Adams County in central Wisconsin.

As of late Wednesday, Wisconsin had submitted 144 suspected cases for testing, 41 came out negative, 100 are pending and the three are listed as probable.

Clark County Health Officer Deb Miller tells Central Wisconsin Broadcasting they haven?t sent any cases for testing.
