GRASS FIRE WEST OF NEILLSVILLE

The Neillsville Fire Department was called to the scene of a grass fire last night.Fire Chief Matt Meyer says the call came in at around 8:09 p.m. It was located at N6740 CTH G in the Town of Seif, west of Neillsville.
The property owner was burning some debris in a pit when the fire spread to some dry grass in a nearby field.
About three acres of grass and two salvage vehicles were burned.
The crew spent about 1 ? hours on the scene.
