OFFICIALS MAKE CASE TO FTD

Clark County Economic Development Corporation representatives met with the heads of Wisconsin Farm Technology Days last week.As we?ve reported, one of the cornerstones of the conceptual Agribusiness Park near Owen is luring the state's largest farm show to make the park its permanent location.
The show currently moves from county to county.
CCEDC Director Sheila Nyberg and Owen Mayor Tim Swiggum made a presentation to the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days board of directors on Wednesday.
Under their proposal, the City of Owen would install the needed infrastructure and give WFTD the option to lease or buy the property.
WFTD is committed to keep moving the show until at least 2014, but no decisions have been made past that.
