Child Sexual Assault Charges Dropped Against Neillsville Man After His Death

A Neillsville man facing charges of sexual assault of a child had the charges dropped after his death.

According to court records, Robert Schuster was charged with sexual assault of a child and child enticement after two boys stated that Schuster assaulted them and told them not to say anything.  Schuster was scheduled to appear in court on December 1st.

According to Schuster’s obituary, he passed away on the day he was supposed to appear in court.  The state was informed of his death and the charges against Schuster have been dropped.
