(Chris Conley, WSAU and WAOW) A former Wood County coach is accused of taking pictures and videos of teenagers without their consent.

According to Chris Conley with WSAU and WAOW, Seth Milkey is a former coach and counselor at Assumption Catholic High School. He stepped down as a coach in 2021. Now he faces 10 counts of felony charges of capturing intimate photos and videos of teenage students without their consent.

According to the court documents, on March 20, police were called to Milkey’s home for a welfare check after he allegedly threatened to kill himself. Police quickly found out the threats were allegedly related to Milkey’s family finding what they believed to be child pornography on one of his computers.

In the document, police state they recovered videos and photos of at least 10 students that Milkey mentored as a counselor or coach. Those videos and images were taken via hidden cameras Milkey put in his own home’s bathrooms between 2019-2023.

The videos were not sexual in nature, but did capture nudity without knowledge from the students. If convicted Milkey could face up to 35 years in prison. He will appear in court on June 3.
