Federal Grand Jury Returns Indictment on Mexican Man Found in Clark County

A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned an indictment for a Mexican man found in Clark County.

26-year-old Jose Luis Bautista Cruz, a citizen of Mexico found in Clark County, is charged with being found in the United States after having been removed.  The indictment alleges he was found in the United States on November 12, 2023.

The charge against him is the result of an investigation by U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement and the Colby-Abbotsford Police Department.  Assistant U.S. Attorneys Louis Glinzak and Aaron Wegner are handling the prosecution.
