Breed: Mixed Breed
Zeus is the CCHS Pet of the Week! Zeus is an incredibly handsome boy! He has a short-haired brindle coat with white trim that is very striking. He is a Mixed Breed about 4 years old and weighs 84#.
Zeus is a bit of a mystery to us as he came to CCHS as a stray so we don't know anything about his background. We have learned that he is a very smart boy and an escape artist. He has figured out how to get out of his kennel and outside play area, so he keeps us on our toes.
Zeus also thinks he may be a little lap dog in a big dog's body. But at 84# that's a lot of lap dog! Because he is such a big boy, we think it will be best if there are no small animals, cats or young children in his new home. He has a very deep bark and could easily scare other critters too.
Zeus has enjoyed meeting visitors and we are hopeful to find him the perfect new home soon. You can submit your adoption application for Zeus or any of the pets at CCHS right on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/
We have lots of animals at CCHS right now, with an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with our animals during any of our open hours!
Save the Date! Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to CCHS this year for Pet Pictures with Santa! They will be at the Shelter on December 9th from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. They are happy to take pictures with all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to rats and goats!
Pictures will be available for purchase as prints or on a flash drive. Please bring your pets and make some great Holiday memories! More details will be available on our website soon.
