Their captivating video, "Farm to Table Pizzas: The Little Red Barn," featuring Marathon County, was honored with an Emmy, solidifying its place as an outstanding production in the field of lifestyle content.

Uniquely Wisconsin, a creation of Discover Mediaworks, has successfully engaged with viewers, listeners, and web users, reaching an impressive audience of over five million people.

The brand has become a prominent platform for highlighting the stories of Wisconsin's people, culture, history, and economic development, all while promoting tourism within the state.

Mark D. O’Connell, President & CEO of the Wisconsin Counties Association, an organization with a longstanding partnership with the Discover family, expressed his pride in being part of the Uniquely Wisconsin brand.

He commended Marathon County for its compelling story and recognized the entire Discover Mediaworks team for their exceptional work in sharing it with the world.

The Marathon County video, credited to Discover Mediaworks Producer Regan Ernst and Editor Portia Danis, secured the top spot in the Outstanding Achievement for Lifestyle - Short & Long Form Content category at the awards ceremony held on November 11, 2023.

Tim White, Executive Director of the Wausau/Central Wisconsin CVB, extended his congratulations to Discover Wisconsin, emphasizing their unparalleled storytelling abilities and their commitment to showcasing Wisconsin's beauty.

The Marathon County video has been prominently featured in various Uniquely Wisconsin platforms, including a broadcast episode, a streaming docuseries, social and digital media stories, and the popular Discover Wisconsin podcast, “The Cabin.”

Josh Schoemann, Washington County Executive, a key figure in the creation of the Uniquely Wisconsin brand, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the brand's ongoing mission to share the remarkable stories that define Wisconsin.

He expressed the county's delight in receiving this prestigious award. Uniquely Wisconsin has already featured several Wisconsin counties, including Adams, Green Lake, Kenosha, Price, Portage, Marathon, Monroe, Racine, Rock, Sauk, Sheboygan, Washington, and Wood, with more counties joining the brand for its third season.
