Neillsville Public Library is excited to announce that you will find a NEW storybook is placed at the Storybook Trail at Schuster Park! This next book is a non-fiction book called “Hiders Seekers, Finders Keepers; How animals Adapt in Winter” by Jessica Kulekjian.

Also, the new Archway entrance to the Storybook Trail in Schuster Park has been installed! The work on the archway was done by Joe Kranz and Kranzations Metal Design and More, LLC. The archway is a replica of the old Grand Ave Bridge archway at the north end of the walking trail.

Please make your way on a nature walk in the park and read the new story about animals in winter and finding tracks in the snow! After you read the story, you can do some park trivia and complete a survey using the QR code on the last post!

Funded by the Cummins/Atmus Filtration and partnering with Neillsville Public Library, City of Neillsville Park and Recreation Department and  committee, the new StoryBook Trail features single pages from a children’s book, attached to weatherproof wooden frames which are installed along the paved walking path at Schuster Park. As you stroll down the path, you are presented with the next page in the story. The trail begins at the South entrance of Schuster Park and winds along going North across the bridge that holds the old Grand Avenue Bridge and all the way to Willow Street on the North side of the park.
