Neillsville Woman Enters Plea for Elder Abuse Charges

A Neillsville woman facing charges of elder abuse entered a plea in Clark County Court on Monday.

According to the criminal complaint, a man stated that his girlfriend, Farron Dignin, kicked him out of a truck and he fell and broke his leg. Dignin then drove leaving him in the freezing weather.

Dignin stated they were arguing and the man spit on her. She told him to get out of the vehicle. She also claimed that she called someone to come and get the man.

During her court appearance on Monday, she was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, physical abuse of an elderly person, 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety, a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and bail jumping.

Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She’s scheduled for sentencing on February 9th.
