River Rescue in Black River Falls on Friday

One person was taken to the hospital after a river rescue in Black River Falls.

According to the Black River Falls Fire Department, they received a report of a person in the river near the Main Street Bridge around 4pm on Friday.  The department found the individual in the water in distress.

Firefighters got in the water and were able to get him ashore.  The victim was transported to the hospital.
