The Board also heard a facility improvement planning update and they approved the transfer of $300,000, as allocated in the budget, from the General Fund into the Long-Term Capital Improvement Fund.

The Board also had the 2nd reading, and subsequent approval, of a long list of policies. Most were approved unanimously, but there was one regarding staff discipline that had some discussion and two Board members voted against.

The Board also approved a delegate and alternate delegate for the Annual WASB Convention and approved student travel to Decorah, IA for the Dorian Vocal Festival in January 2024.

Finally, the Board approved a handful of donations including 40 crocheted hats valued at $80 from Spencer Crafting Angels; 17 - $25 gas cards from Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union to offset fuel expenses for students enrolled in the Health Career Connections course; and 40 small pumpkins to Lincoln Elementary valued at $20 from Nigon View Farms.
