One Person Dead After House Fire in Medford

One person was found dead after an early morning house fire in Medford.

According to the Medford Fire Department, they responded to a house fire early Saturday morning at the 100 Block of Eighth Street in Medford.  When they arrived, the attached garage was fully engulfed in flames and the home was filled with smoke.

An individual was found dead inside the home.  This fire is under investigation by the Medford Police Department and the Wisconsin State Fire Marshall’s Office.
