Marshfield Area United Way Looking for Volunteers for National Make a Difference Day this Saturday

Marshfield Area United Way is rallying the community and inviting volunteers to join in for National Make a Difference Day this Saturday, October 28th.

I spoke with Ashley Winch, Executive Director of Marshfield Area United Way, and she discussed National Make a Difference Day, what Marshfield Area United Way does for that day, how to volunteer, who can benefit, and more.

Volunteers should bring their own rakes, work gloves, and arrange their transportation. Again, National Make a Difference Day is this Saturday, October 28th from 8am-Noon. Those who are volunteering should meet at Mid-State Technical College for their breakfast and leaf raking assignment.
