Yukon is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Yukon

Age: 3-Months-Old

Breed: Heeler Mix

Meet Yukon, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Yukon is a 3-month old Heeler mix who came to CCHS from a local farm where they just had too many puppies. He weighs 9.5# and has a short-haired tri-color coat that's mostly black with tan and white. He's quite adorable with cute ears, too.

Yukon is a typical happy, energetic puppy. He's ready to explore and go on lots of new adventures. He's also old enough to start training so that he learns everything it takes to be a good dog when he grows up. He promises to bring lots of smiles to you every day and to share his heart full of love.

He would love to join your family! You can submit your adoption application for Yukon or any of the pets at CCHS right on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have an amazing selection of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens right now, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out. We are very much in need of volunteers!

You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected].  Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Heeler, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
