Holcombe Woman Arrested for Possession Sentenced in Trempealeau County Court

A woman arrested after the Trempealeau County K9 Unit discovered drugs in a vehicle was sentenced in Trempealeau County Court.

Back in March of 2021, during a busy day, the Trempealeau County K9 Unit indicated there were drugs in a vehicle that had been stopped in Arcadia.  The K9 found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Dawn Malecki of Holcombe was arrested.

She pleaded guilty to 3rd OWI. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail, must have an ignition interlock device for 24 months, and her license was suspended for 24 months.
