Charlie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Charlie

Age: 5 and 1/2-Months-Old

Breed:

Meet Charlie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Charlie came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter in Tennessee. Have you ever seen such a cute face? And those ears are just adorable! The best part is that Charlie is just as sweet as he is cute. He is 5 1/2 months old and weighs about 20#.

He has a very handsome soft coat that looks like brown velvet. As you can see in his pictures, Charlie is a happy guy that loves his toys. He's a fun-loving boy ready to bring lots of smiles and love to his new family. If you're looking to brighten your days, Charlie could be your new friend!

You can submit your adoption application for Charlie (or any of the pets at CCHS) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. We have an amazing selection of dogs and puppies right now, so be sure to check them all out!

Would you ever think that your old shoes could help CCHS pay for a well water pump? Well they can! Our team is participating in a fundraiser with funds2orgs.com. We are looking for community members to help us by collecting gently worn, used and new shoes.

These shoes will help support our program as well as individuals in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti and Cambodia. Shoes can be dropped off at CCHS when we're open or can be left outside the front door at any time. CC Resale (815 Hewett St) in Neillsville is also a collection point and shoes can be left there between 9:30 am - 11:30 am on Saturday's. Thank you for helping!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Charlie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
