Coronavirus Numbers for December 11th

-For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,443 positive cases.  Of those, 188 are currently active and 177 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has had 44 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 4,851 positive cases.  Wood has had 31 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 426,099 positive cases (an increase of 4,034 over the previous day) and 3,944 deaths, an increase of 57 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 18,875, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 5,314 positive, Eau Claire has seen 8,326 positive, Jackson has seen 2,012 positive, Marathon has seen 10,677 positive and Taylor has seen 1,423 positive.

Marathon has had 139 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 65 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 58 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 12 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 6 people die from the virus.
