Four Black River Falls Middle School VEX Student's Heading to Florida

Four lucky Black River Falls Middle School VEX student's are heading to Florida this summer.

Among other things they will be attending the National Flight Academy in Florida. There were 50 total spots to fill on this trip around the surrounding area of Schools. Students had to write two different essays; one describing a manmade invention that utilized Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

And the second essay, "Why you should be chosen to attend this event". There were over 2000 applications from 7th through 12th graders for a spot and these four qualified! Mr. Stemper is the VEX advisor.
