Greenwood High School Students Receive Over $175,000 in Scholarships

Greenwood High School held their senior awards banquet on Sunday, May 21st, where students were recognized for various awards and scholarships were presented.

The School District of Greenwood is very proud of the fact that 24 of the 36 members of this graduating class (67%), have made plans to attend a post secondary institution between this summer and next fall; with one graduate entering the army, and 12 graduates entering the workforce.

They are pleased to announce the scholarships awarded to this year’s graduating class and are appreciative of the generosity of all the donors. The Greenwood High School Class of 2023 earned 70 scholarship awards totaling $175,970.

The Greenwood High School’s graduation ceremony is being held this Saturday, May 27th, at 11am. Ashlee Hamm is the Valedictorian and Rogan Travis is the Salutatorian.
