Whipple is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Whipple

Age: 2.5-Years-Old

Breed: Mixed Breed

Meet Whipple, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Whipple came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter in Texas. We're not sure what she is all mixed with, so we're calling her a Mixed Breed. Whipple is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 48.5#.

She has a short-haired coat that's light tan with a dark muzzle and luscious brown eyes. Whipple is a sweet girl ready to make lots of new memories with her new family. We're still learning more about her, but we can say for sure that she loves treats.

She is pretty easy going and would love to spend time with you hanging out on the couch. Whipple is spayed, vaccinated, blood-tested and microchipped, so she's ready to go home right away. You can submit your adoption application for Whipple (or any of the pets at CCHS) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Would you ever think that your old shoes could help CCHS pay for a well water pump? Well they can! Our team is participating in a fundraiser with funds2orgs.com. We are looking for community members to help us by collecting gently worn, used and new shoes.

These shoes will help support our program as well as individuals in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti and Cambodia. Shoes can be dropped off at CCHS when we're open or can be left outside the front door at any time. CC Resale (815 Hewett St) in Neillsville is also a collection point and shoes can be left there between 9:30 am - 11:30 am on Saturday's. Thank you for helping!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Whipple, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
