Marshfield Street Division to do Road Repairs Underneath Viaduct/Railroad Bridge at Veterans and McMillan

Beginning Monday, May 8, 2023, the City of Marshfield Street Division will do road repairs underneath the viaduct/railroad bridge at Veterans Parkway intersecting McMillan Avenue.

The project will consist of a concrete extension from Veterans to the bridge's west side. Work will be removing the existing asphalt and placing new concrete panels. In addition, we will tie a small section of asphalt to the more recent areas of asphalt to join Lincoln and W. McMillan.

Following our repairs, American asphalt will pave the asphalt section that ties the project together with joining streets. The project's weather-dependent duration will take around a week to complete. During the project, access to Lincoln and McMillan will be for local traffic only.

There will be no access under the bridge from either direction. This closure will last approximately two weeks, weather dependent. As always, please slowdown in the construction zone for the safety of yourself and the workers.
