Jax is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Jax

Age: 1-Year-Old

Breed: Mixed Breed

Meet Jax, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Jax is a one-year old mixed breed dog. He is a good sized boy weighing in at 105#, and he is a neutered male. He has a short-haired tan and white coat and seems to have a smile on his face most of the time, as you can see in his pictures!

Jax was surrendered to CCHS because he just barked too much for his previous family. But Jax is a smart dog who is ready to learn how to be a good boy for his new family. Jax is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and enjoys getting attention from people.

Once he gets to meet you and know you, he'll be your best friend! He'll be happy to share his happy outlook on life every day! You can submit your adoption application for Jax (or any of the pets at CCHS) on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Would you ever think that your old shoes could help CCHS pay for a well water pump? Well, they can! Our team is participating in a fundraiser with funds2orgs.com. We are looking for community members to help us by collecting gently worn, used and new shoes.

These shoes will help support our program as well as individuals in developing nations like Ghana, Haiti and Cambodia. Shoes can be dropped off at CCHS when we're open or can be left outside the front door at any time. CC Resale (815 Hewett St) in Neillsville is also a collection point and shoes can be left there between 9:30 am - 11:30 am on Saturday's. Thank you for helping!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Jax, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
