Neillsville Police Department Creates Internet Merchandise Exchange Location

The Neillsville Police Department has created an Internet Merchandise Exchange Location.

Neillsville Police Chief Jim Mankowski announced they’ve created an "Internet Purchase Exchange Location" outside the entrance of the police department office building.

A parking stall at 118 West 5th Street has been reserved as the designated location for residents to meet potential buyers or sellers for items purchased online.  Although the City of Neillsville is a safe community to live in and visit, the police department is always looking for ways to improve safety in the community.

The Wisconsin Crime Prevention Practitioners Association donated the Internet Purchase Exchange Location sign. This parking stall is under video surveillance 24 hours daily, without audio, and is posted.

Chief Mankowsi encourages all residents or visitors to use this location when purchasing or selling items online. Offering this location to the citizens of Neillsville and visitors creates a safe, well-lit, monitored area, improving the security of in-person transactions.
