If you still haven't filed your taxes, now's the time. IRS Spokesman Christopher Miller says e-filing is the fastest and more reliable option. "We see about a 20% error rate on paper returns, compared to about a 2% error rate on E file returns."

Miller says that e-filing is your best bet, and you can do so for free. "You get to use that Free File program on our website. Generally, it works for folks that make $73,000 or or less and you get to use brand name tax software."

Make sure to use that link each time you want to file your taxes to make sure it's still free. Those links are online at IRS dot Gov.
