If you still haven't filed your taxes, now's the time. IRS Spokesman Christopher Miller says e-filing is the fastest and more reliable option. "We see about a 20% error rate on paper returns, compared to about a 2% error rate on E file returns."
Miller says that e-filing is your best bet, and you can do so for free. "You get to use that Free File program on our website. Generally, it works for folks that make $73,000 or or less and you get to use brand name tax software."
