Trempeleau County Man Arrested After Gun Incident In Blair

(Ted Ehlen, WRN) A Trempealeau County man has been arrested for pointing a gun at people and threatening them.

A press release from the sheriff’s office says when they responded to a Saturday night report of an intoxicated man pointing a gun in the city of Blair, the suspect was already gone. The suspect was located and arrested Sunday morning.

He’s identified as 59-year-old Douglas Stegerwald of Arcadia. Deputies executed a search warrant at Stegerwald’s property and found a pistol matching the description of the weapon used in the incident.
