Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Entering Into an Opioid Settlement Agreement

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved entering into an opioid settlement agreement.

During the Board’s meeting on Thursday, they approved entering into the opioid settlement agreement with several pharmacies and companies and entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Wisconsin Attorney General.

The Board also approved the grant application for ATV/UTV trail maintenance funding. With 241.2 miles of state funded ATV/UTV trails, Clark County is eligible for $600 per mile for summer trails, $100 per mile for winter trails, $200 per mile for UTV trails, and $249 per mile for troute trails. The County could receive a total of $74,650.30.

The Board also approved the grant application for snowmobile trail maintenance. The County is eligible for $300 per mile for snowmobile trail maintenance. They could receive a total of $112,860 for the 376.20 miles of trails.

The Board also approved James Chadwick to the Veterans Service Commission. They also heard the Community Services Report and a presentation on Solar/Wind farms in the County.
